A Childhood memory
The First Period Work List
I have remembered a pale day
it was sealed by the gray clouds
in great fear the small feet walking slowly
toward the door of home
I have remembered there was a silence in heart
framed the tears
choked a cry
in the dark kitchen
the baleful eyes with inexplicable resentments engraved the memory
and there was an angel weeping at the scene
I see many going through that day
still
I see a small bird shivering in its standing
with trembling wings there is no way out of this fate
can blood cease that anger?
and the days repeating
Thus, a sense of pain remains
and an angry heart has nurtured
many have to learn to forget and forgive
but some barely found the path
A beast might bite its baby
so as a guilty man did to his little son
